Michael Devito
Mike is the President of Alpha Equity Group and founded “Alpha” to capitalize on the economic opportunities that materialized as a result of the “Great Recession”. Mike is responsible for identifying new investment opportunities within all the real estate sectors that Alpha looks to deploy capital within. Mike oversees all acquisition, entitlement, construction and disposition activities for the company.
Prior to Alpha Equity Group, Mike was the managing partner and the Florida state licensed qualifying contractor for Baywood Construction, a single family home builder in Cape Coral, FL. During his time at Baywood Construction, Mike was responsible for the construction of over 1800 single family homes. Additionally, Mike and his brother James were co-owners of JM Title Corporation, a real estate title insurance agency providing services throughout Lee County.
Mike graduated from Jacksonville University, is a Certified Building Contractor in the State of Florida and is a licensed Florida Realtor.
James Devito
James is the co-owner and Vice President of Alpha Equity Group and is responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the business. James is the manager for company owned real estate properties and provides financial oversight including budgeting, analysis, reporting, and controls.
Prior to Alpha Equity Group, James was a Financial Control Manager at Citibank (Latin America Regional Processing Center), and held various positions at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, including internal auditor, Regional Operations Manager, and Finance Manager. James was also the managing partner for JM Title Corporation, a title insurance agency he co-owned with his brother Mike.
James graduated from University of South Carolina with an International Master of Business Administration (I.M.B.A) degree. He is a licensed Florida Realtor and licensed Florida Title Agent.
